Set Screw Height-Adjustable Desk
1. Carefully turn the desktop upside
down on a soft, protective surface.
2. Locate the two height-adjust screws
in the support column. Using a
1
/
8
” Allen wrench, loosen the screws
until they both are slightly above
flush with the support column. This
must be done to prevent the screws
from scratching the base while
adjusting the height (Figure 1 &
Detail A).
3. Move the base up or down to desired
height (1” increments) and align set
screws to adjustment holes in the
base. Using a
1
/
8
” Allen wrench, twist
one set screw into the adjustment
hole in the base loosely, finger-tight
to just below flush with the outer
column. DO NOT tighten the set
screw (Figure 2 & Detail B).
4. Next, using a
1
/
8
” Allen wrench,
tighten the second set screw into the
base adjustment hole, to just below
flush with the column. The first set
screw will draw tighter from this
process. Ensure that both set screws
maintain equal depths (Figure 2 &
Detail B).
5. Carefully turn the desk to the upright
position.
Note:
Adjustable leveling glides
are supplied on Ruckus desking.
Glides may be turned clock-wise to
account for un-level floor conditions.
Each adjustable swivel glide has a
threaded stem which must turn to
adjust the glide.
