Using the Software 5
The icons below the task bar are mainly concerned with how the program
runs whereas each tab allows you to configure a particular part of the
setup, either with respect to the instruments that are connected to the
software or with respect to the M-PHY standard.
Finally, beside the progression bar at the bottom of the window, there are
two switches: Global Outputs and Sequence State.
Each of these icons, tabs and switches is considered in more detail below.
Settings Icon
Click the Settings Icon to save, load or reset particular settings. For
example, if you have configured the setup for a particular task or DUT, you
can save this configuration for future use. Similarly, if you have already
saved a particular configuration, you can load it to use it again, thus saving
time. It is also possible to reset the configuration to the default values.
View Icon
As described on page 29 , you can drag and drop the tabs to position them
as you want on the screen. Once you have found the arrangement that
suits your purposes, you can save this arrangement for future use.
Similarly, if you have already saved a particular arrangement, you can load
it to use it again, thus saving time. It is also possible to reset the
arrangement to the default one.
With the menu point windows , you can disable or enable particular tabs
by clicking on their names in the pop-up list (see Figure 9 ).
