Keysight MIPI M-PHY Frame Generator User Guide

Software Installation and Update

Software Installation

Before the Framework Generator can be installed, the following software

requirements must be met:
• Windows 10 Operating System
• Microsoft .NET Framework
• Keysight IO Libraries Suite

The exact software versions required are listed in the MIPI

M-PHY N5991

Frame Generator changelog file, which can be downloaded from

BitifEye.com.

Then execute the installer file

"MPhy_Frame Generator_N5991_Installer.exe".

The welcome page of the setup program will open. The second and third

pages of the setup program will show the software license agreement.

Read it carefully and select

I accept the terms of the License Agreement

Then click

Next

to continue. The

Choose Install Location

window will

open. Either confirm the given path or click the

Browse

… button to select

the destination folder in which the software will be installed. Then, click

the

Install

button to install the software.

After the installation the computer does not need to be rebooted. An icon

named “MIPI M-PHY Frame Generator” will be added to the desktop.
