3.5.2: Starting M5201x API
You may access the M5201x API to control and configure the connected
instruments using the ‘ktM5201x’ Library available in Python, C/C++ and
.NET programming languages.
The following work flow, using Python commands, shows how to use
Keysight M5201x Programming Libraries:
1 Import required system components and python libraries (as needed).
Examples:
import sys
import os
import numpy as np # For keysight_ktm5201x arrays
2 Import the M5201x Python library for programming the M5201A card.
Example:
import keysight_ktm5201x as m5201x
3 Proceed with creating module objects and defining other M5201x
functions.
For more information regarding M5201x API programming functions, refer
to the Help files, which are available in C:\Program Files\Keysight\
M5201x , for each programming language.
