Multimeter Command Reference
TRIGger
TRIGger
The
TRIGger
command subsystem controls the behavior of the trigger system.
The subsystem can control:

The number of triggers to occur before the multimeter returns to the idle
state (
TRIGger:COUNt
).
–
The delay between trigger and measurement (
TRIGger:DELay
).
–
The source of the trigger (
TRIGger:SOURce
).

selects 1 trigger.
MAX
selects 50,000 triggers.

If
MAX
or
50,000
is specified for the number parameter, the command will
be accepted. If you initiate measurements with an
INITiate
command, an
“Insufficient memory” error occurs to show that this generates too many
readings to store in memory. However, you can use the
READ?
command
to return the readings to the output buffer and retrieve them with your
controller. The
READ?
command is a combined
INITiate
and
FETCh?
command.

CONFigure
and
MEASure
set the trigger count to 1.
