Keysight 8990B Programming Guide
DISPlay:OUTput? <character_data>
This query performs a screen capture of the current screen display of the 8990B,
sends the screen capture across the remote connection in binary format, and
exports it as an image file. The data is returned as a definite-length binary block of
floating point numbers.
Each point in the trace is represented as an IEEE-754 32-bit floating point
number, made up of four bytes in the data block. The MS byte is transmitted first.
Each complete block is terminated by a line feed.
Syntax
#xyyy..yddd...................ddd<LF>
The number of y digits
Signifies the start of the block
The number of data bytes (d)
contained in the block.
Data bytes
Line feed character
signifies the end of the block
Example: if there are 12435 data bytes, y = 12435 and x = 5
