Group 3 Test Point Details
Verifying A5 Test Set Motherboard Connectors, Cables, and Voltages
1.
Power down the test set and remove the top and bottom covers. Refer to
“Removing the Outer Cover” on page 7-8

If not previously done, verify the continuity of the F1–F8 fuses. If
necessary, use the "Spare" fuse (F9). Refer to
If the fuse was faulty was replaced, proceed to step

If the fuses are OK, inspect that the J3–J6 DC cables and J7–J11 head
digital control cables are installed properly. If not, power down the test
set, and re-seat the connectors. Then power up the test set, and recheck
the operation of the head(s) and test set. Refer to

If the fuses are OK, verify the voltages at the corresponding port’s TSMB
connector pins (J3–J6). (I.e., Port 1 (A), port 2 (B), port 3 (C), and port 4
(D).) Refer to

If no problem found or only one connector pin is failing the voltage check,
