Installing AXIe Modules

Power down but do not unplug the AXIe chassis from the AC power (see “To
Power Down the Chassis" on page 17).

Locate the (left and right) guide rails for each slot. The example below shows
the right side guide rails in the M9506A with all slots empty; typically one or
more will be covered.

No AXIe chassis filler modules are shipped with the chassis. They
are order-able separately with Keysight part number Y1221A. For
proper chassis and slot cooling, all unused chassis slots must have
an AXIe Filler Module installed.
