CWA in Analyses
Power Quality CWA Setup
For the most accurate CWA frequency measurements, configure the CWA settings correctly for
each signal. Enter the
CWA Setup
menu, iterate through each sync source, and set the Noise
Rejection level and Sync Offset for each source. Then select the signal to use as the sync source.
Harmonics CWA Setup
The CWA measurement window is fixed at 200 ms in the Harmonics Analysis. To configure other
CWA settings, within Harmonics Analysis, press
Settings > CWA Setup
. Be sure the sync source
and its settings are appropriate for the harmonics source that is being analyzed.
Energy CWA Setup
The Energy Analysis duration can be selected in increments of the CWA window. Ensure that the
Sync Source is a signal that will be present throughout the analysis. If the Sync Source signal is
lost during the Energy Analysis, the analysis will be stopped.
Efficiency CWA Setup
The Input and Output sources for the Efficiency Analysis must be configured correctly. For best
results, ensure that the Input and Output use the same CWA Sync Source. This ensures that the
power measurements are taken over the same time interval.
