Corrections/ Calibrations for ETSI Tx and Rx Test Cases
Corrections are available in ETSI transmitter and receiver test steps settings. The
following corrections factors can be applied:
– Mixer Loss Conversion File
– Cable Loss File (between Switch and Mixer)
– Switch Loss File
– Cable Loss File (between Switch and Spectrum Analyzer)
– Free Space Loss File
– Antenna Gain File
The Corrections check box must first be enabled before corrections can be
performed. The correction is only as good as the accuracy of the measured
multitone signal, hence a calibrated measurement system is essential for the
correction method to work.

Corrections enabled
The corresponding corrections file will need to uploaded into the corresponding
fields. Once all corrections files are inputted into the Automotive Radar and the
test step is run, the following occurs:
– Automotive Radar test app will upload all corrections files onto SA
– Automotive Radar test app will set all corrections to be on in SA
– SA will look into the Corrections database, check which corrections are on and
will be automatically applied.
