Child seat

Crash due to incorrect child seat
Neither the pannier rack nor the bicycle down tube are
suitable for child seats and may break. Such an
incorrect position may cause a crash with serious
injuries for the rider and the child.
Never attach a child seat to the saddle, handlebars
or down tube.

When using child seats, the riding properties and the
stability of the bicycle change considerably. This can
cause a loss of control, a crash and injuries.
You should practice how to use the child seat safely
and reliably before using the bicycle in public
spaces.

Risk of crushing due to exposed springs
The child may crush his/her fingers on exposed
springs or open mechanical parts of the saddle or the
seat post.
Never install saddles with exposed springs if a child
seat is being used.
Never install seat posts with suspension with open
mechanical parts or exposed springs if a child seat
is being used.
