Using the DAB+ Radio _________________________________________________________
Press
DAB
on the remote control or the
Source
button on the main device until you see
"DAB"
in the display.
Setting the DAB+ stations
When commissioning the device, it carries out a station search. The stations found are stored alphabetically in
the station list.
Restarting the automatic station search
•
Press the
MENU
button to get the DAB menu.
The display will show
"FULL SCAN"
. Begin the search pressing
Enter
.
•
During the search, the display shows the number of stations it has found so far.
•
If the search finds no stations, the message
"NO DAB"
will appear for approximately 2 seconds, which then
changes to show
"FULL SCAN"
.
Please check that the aerial is connected correctly or try to find another place for the device for a better
reception.
Manually setting stations
•
Press the
MENU
button to bring up the DAB menu.
•
Press the button
TUN+
until
"MANUAL"
appears in the display.
•
Confirm by pressing
Enter
and the display shows the channel currently set with its frequency.
•
Press the
TUN+
or
TUN-
buttons to choose another station manually.
•
Press the
Enter
button to confirm this choice. The signal level will appear in the display and pressing the key
again loads the current ensemble.
Finding a DAB+ station
Find the stations stored alphabetically in the station list as follows:
•
Press
TUN+
or
TUN-
on the remote control to scroll backwards or forwards in the station list.
•
When you find the correct station, press
Enter
on the remote control or wait about 2 seconds to begin
playback.
The message
"LOADING"
will appear in the display.
•
If the signal strength for your chosen station is too low for good quality playback,
"OFF AIR"
will appear in
the display. Please choose another station.
Saving stations in the station memory
There are 20 memory slots where you can store DAB stations for easy retrieval. To use the memory function,
please do the following:
•
Choose a station to save.
•
Press the
PRG
button until the display flashes and suggests a memory location. An empty memory location
will show as
"EMPTY"
and, if already in use, will show the frequency. You can use a memory location that has
been used before.
•
Press the
TUN+
or
TUN-
buttons to choose a memory location.
•
Confirm storage with the
Enter
button. The display will briefly flash the message
"STORED
"
.
•
The stations can now be selected with the
⏩
or
⏪
buttons.
