Using the cassette
Radio recording tip
To temporarily pause the recording, press

Insert a disc or a USB device.

Insert a blank cassette tape into the tape deck.

Playing a cassette tape

Press the area marked [push open] to open the
cassette tape door.

Insert cassette tape into the compartment with
the open edge facing down.

Close the door securely.

Press TAPE mode (TAPE mode) button to select
the desired reverse mode.
icon : plays only one side of the tape and
stops.
icon : plays both sides and stops.
icon : plays both sides endlessly.

Recording on a cassette tape
You can record from a radio, a disc, or a USB device.
About the recording from an external equipment
connected to AUX IN terminal, refer to <Using an
external equipment> (page 18).
For the best recording, use a normal bias tape (Type
1 only).
Recording from a radio

Insert a cassette tape into the tape
compartment and close the door.

Press TUNER band (TUNER band) button to
TUNER and select a radio station.

Press TAPE REC (TAPE rec) button to set the unit
into recording standby mode.
The icon “TAPE REC.” appears on the display.
