Configuration worksheet
All parameters in this worksheet should be considered a minimum configuration to
enable the router to pass traffic.
Ethernet LAN configuration
In most cases, you can use the default LAN IP address and subnet mask. However,
you must change these settings if you are installing the router on a LAN with static
IP addresses, or where another device is already using the default Ethernet LAN IP
address of 192.168.1.1.
To change the default values, go to the
Configure > Interfaces > Ethernet Ports 1-4
page of the router’s graphical interface, and select
Edit IP
in the iplan
Controls
list.

For settings related to Frame Relay installations, select
Switch to Frame
in the T1
port Controls list and enter a unique name for the Frame Relay interface, such as
FR-1. (See the
Q-Series User’s Guide
for naming conventions.)
When you return to
T1 Port 1
page, select
Add DLCI
in the Frame Relay Controls list
to add the following information for each DLCI to be configured in the router.
