Tools and Parts
Gather the required tools and parts before starting installation.
Tools needed for all installations:
Level
Tape measure
Pliers
Flat-blade screwdriver
#2 Phillips screwdriver
Adjustable wrench that
opens to 1" (25 mm) or
hex-head socket wrench
Tin snips (new vent
installations)
Caulking gun and
compound (for installing
new exhaust vent)
Vent clamps
1/4" nut driver or 5/16"
socket wrench
(recommended)
Tools needed for gas installations:
8" or 10" pipe wrench
8" or 10" adjustable
wrench (for gas
connections)
Pipe-joint compound
resistant to LP gas
Utility knife

Parts package is located in dryer drum. Check that all parts
are included.
Parts needed:
Check local codes. Check existing gas and electrical supply and
venting. See “Electrical Requirements,” “Gas Supply Requirements,”
and “Venting Requirements” before purchasing parts.
