7.1 Care
The maintenance of the ProfiMaster is essentially limited to cleaning all surfaces of
dust and debris and checking the filter cartridges.
Appropriate care helps to maintain the ProfiMaster in functional working order in the
long run.
●
Clean the ProfiMaster thoroughly once a month.
●
The outer surfaces of the ProfiMaster can be cleaned with a suitable industrial
vacuum cleaner with dust class H or alternatively wiped with a damp cloth.
●
When cleaning the extraction arm also remove any possible accumulated dust or
other debris at the guard or inside the extraction hood.
●
Check the hose on the extraction arm for damage e.g. burns holes from sparks or
chafing.
Information
Major defects and leaks lead to a reduction in the extraction
capacity of the extraction hood. Replace the hose with a new one
in good time.
WARNING
Skin contact with cutting smoke, etc. can lead to skin irritation for
people with sensitive skin!
Serious injury to the respiratory tract and respiratory organs
possible!
To avoid contact with and inhalation of dust, use protective
clothing, gloves and an air respirator e.g. KEMPER autoflow XP or
a respiratory protection filter mask of the class FFP2 according to
EN 149
The release of hazardous dust when cleaning is to be avoided, so
that people not charged with the task are not harmed.
Information
Do not clean the ProfiMaster with compressed air! This could lead to
dust and/or dirt particles entering the surrounding air.
