STEPS TO TAKE BEFORE USE
•
The log splitter is supplied with a five-pole CEE 16 A connection glove. By law, the glove
must be connected to a corresponding socket, which must be fitted by a qualified
electrician.
•
The log splitter is test-operated before delivery, and is supplied in a package with filled
SHS 32 hydraulic oil, engine protection and a fitted connection glove.

•
Familiarise yourself with the log splitter without starting it
•
Always test the off button before use. Switch on the machine and then press the red 'OFF'
button; the machine should switch off immediately.
If the machine does not switch
off immediately, do not use it
. The machine must not be used until the fault has been
rectified.
PHASE INVERTER
When the log splitter is started, check the engine's direction of rotation. There is an arrow
showing the direction of rotation on the rear part of the engine. If the hydraulic ram does not
move forwards, this indicates that the engine is running in the wrong direction. In this case,
stop the machine immediately and change the engine's direction of rotation.
The engine's direction of rotation is easy to change by turning the fixed changer with a
screwdriver.
