PnP/PCI Configurations
This section describes configuring the PCI bus system. It covers some very technical items and it
is strongly recommended that only experienced users should make any changes to the default
settings.

The settings on the screen are for reference only. Your version may not be identical to
this one.
Reset Configuration Data
•
Enabled
: The BIOS will reset the Extended System Configuration Data (ESCD) once
automatically. It will then recreate a new set of configuration data.
•
Disabled:
The BIOS will not reset the configuration data.
Resources Controlled By
The Award Plug and Play BIOS has the capability to automatically configure all of the boot and
Plug and Play compatible devices.
•
Auto:
The system will automatically detect the settings for you.
•
Manual:
Choose the specific IRQ in the IRQ Resources
field respectively.
IRQ Resources
Move the cursor to this field and press <Enter>. This field is used to set each system interrupt to
either Reserved or PCI Device.
PCI/VGA Palette Snoop
This field determines whether the MPEG ISA/VESA VGA cards can work with PCI/VGA or not.
The default value is Disabled.

Enabled:
MPEG ISA/VESA VGA cards work with PCI/VGA.
