Oil Head Target

The moving Oil Head uses a flat head screw as a target for the Board Edge Sensors to
“see”. The screw should be adjusted to

0.010

” (0.254 mm) from the face of the

proximity sensors. Check both sensors to be certain that the gap is the same. The
proximity sensors have a small amount of adjustment so they can also move if
necessary.

Brush Lift Switches

The Brush Lift Switches are mounted
to a plate that has adjusting slots.
The switch plate adjustment should
be checked when each switch is on
the cam lobe. The switch rollers
should not “bottom out” and have
only between 0.005” and 0.010”
over-travel of the roller (about 0.127
mm to 0.254 mm).
