5.2 Register to VMS
The camera can be registered to surveillance VMS through VSIP protocol. After the camera is rebooted, user
can view camera live video at the client of VMS. This part will take VMS V2.0 as an example to introduce the
registration steps.
1) Login to the PMC client and enter Device
interface. Click “
Add
” and a window pops up. Fill in
Name and
make sure “
GB Device
” is NOT checked. Select “
Encoder
” under the dropdown list of Type, select
Model
and fill in camera IP
. Keep other parameters as default and click “
OK
”.

2) Go to camera web client: Settings > Network > Access Protocol > VSIP , as shown in the picture.
Confirm that VMS registration has been finished automatically, and VMS ADDRESS (IPv4) has been
written automatically, and Camera UUID and Camera Password have been generated automatically. No
operation is needed.

3) Login to the CU client of VMS V2.0 and confirm if the device has been registered to VMS V2.0 successfully.
After the registration is successful, user can view the live video of camera through the client, as shown in
Picture 5-5.
