Installation instructions for flat rear heat sink

ATTENTION

Overheating of the device.

Never operate flat rear devices without main cooler.

Select suitable cooling surfaces (e.g. water heat sink, ribbed heat

sink, machine base).

► Screw the flat rear of the devices to the cooling surface.

Ensure good thermal conductivity (e.g. thermal paste)

The machine builder is responsible for the cooling of the units.

Heat-conducting paste

Information about the correct application of the heat-conducting paste are

available at

www.keb.co.uk

 under the search term

"Heat-conducting paste“

.

Select correct flow temperature for liquid coolers

► The flow temperature must be choose in such a way, that no mois

-

ture condensation occurs.

Assembly of the drive converter

For reliable operation, the drive converter must be mounted without any clear-

ance on a smooth, closed, bare metal mounting plate.

3.4.1.1  Mounting instructions for control cabinet installation

The following mounting materials with the appropriate quality must be used to assembly

the drive converters.

Required material

Tightening torque

Socket screw
