6 Using the device
6.2
Powering on the device
1.
Power the device on. Power switch is located at the rear of the carriage.
2.
The device starts initialization.
3.
Complete the device initialization by pressing the
HOME
button on the patient positioning panel
when indicator light starts blinking in blue. The device GUI also indicates when HOME button can
be pressed.
NOTICE!
The device moves up or down when HOME button is pressed.
NOTICE!
The device enters a power save mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. While in the
power save mode, the device cooling fan is not active, but the patient positioning panel
lights are lit. The device wakes up from the power save mode when connection to it is
established or when the HOME button is pressed.
6.3
Preparing the device for imaging
1.
Power up the workstation.
2.
Launch the dental imaging software.
3.
Imaging SW:
Select the patient for examination.
4. Imaging SW:
Select the device to establish a connection.
NOTICE!
Refer to the dental imaging software documentation for more details.
5.
The device GUI opens on the workstation when the connection to the device is established.
NOTICE!
The device must be powered on and initialized before the connection is established.
