2 Measuring and configuration

2.1 Control unit service program

The US code may only be set to ON when the laser is purchased in the USA. In this

case, Set Detect and Feedback to OFF.

If the US code is turned on, only the PA programs are available to the user, and only

the PA handpiece is in the menu selection.

In addition, the pilot laser only shines as long as an er:YAG laser beam is not ge‐

nerated.

2.1.11 Diagnodent service

This function is used for the Diagnodent service

Unmodulated pilot laser output

This operating mode is only for technicians for test purposes. The safety shutoff
