2 Measuring and configuration

 | 

2.2 Optical system

▶ Use a cotton bud with a wooden stem to prevent the energy measurement unit

mirror from slipping.

▶ Place a sheet of lens cleaning paper on the energy measurement unit mirror

and, without applying any pressure, wipe the surface of the mirror.

Wipe at a speed whereby the acetone evaporates before it reaches the end of

the lens cleaning paper.

▶ Clean the second surface of the energy measurement unit mirror and the two

surfaces of the pilot input unit mirror in the same way.

Install the deflection mirror

Note

The < character on the lateral surface of the mirror points toward the coating.

The installation direction of the energy measurement mirror ③ and the pilot

input ④: Coating in the direction of the Er:YAG laser illumination.

Do not confuse the two mirrors. Install them in the correct holder with the correct

cover according to the drawing.
