When the user of the
Globus 1078 S needs con‐
tinued operation even
when the power supply is
interrupted, it is recom‐
mended to supply the
Globus 1078 S from an un‐
interrupted power supply
or a battery.

Recommended safe distance between portable and mobile HF
telecommunications equipment and the treatment unit
The Globus 1078 S is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which
HF disturbances are controlled. The customer or the user of the Globus 1078 S can
help prevent electromagnetic disturbances by maintaining the minimum distance
between portable and mobile HF telecommunications devices (transmitters) and the
Globus 1078 S depending on the output of the communication device as indicated
below.

For transmitters whose maximum rated power is not in the above table, the recom‐
mended safe distance d in meters (m) can be calculated using the equation for the
respective gap, where P is the maximum rated power of the transmitter in Watts (W)
according to the manufacturer's information.
NOTE 1: At 80 MHz and 800 MHz, the higher frequency range applies.
