2.2 Intended purpose
Disposal of electronics
Note
According to EC directive 2002/96 concerning used electrical and electronic devi‐
ces, this product is subject to the cited directive and must be disposed of accor‐
dingly within Europe.
Before disassembling / disposing of the product, it must be completely processed
(disinfected, sterilized) according to the section "Preparation methods"

supplier.
2.2.2 Product-specific
Restrictions on use:
1. never aspirate flammable, explosive dusts or vapours
2. never aspirate liquids
3. Only use dust extraction system in dry rooms
This unit contains hazardous dust. Emptying and maintenance operations including
removal and renewal of dust container shall only be carried out by authorised per‐
sonnel wearing suitable personal protection.
The manufacturer or trained personnel must perform a technical inspection of the
dust collection system at least once a year to check the filter for damage, make sure
the machine is airtight, ensure that the control device is functioning correctly and to
check collection efficiency.
Precautions during servicing
▪ Before removing the dust extraction system from the contaminated area, it
should be aspirated or wiped clean, and the openings on the untreated air side
should be sealed.
– Accessory parts (hoses, etc.) are to be considered contaminated and treated
correspondingly.
▪ Use suitable personal protective equipment.
▪ If possible, use a room with filtered automatic ventilation.
▪ Cleaning the servicing area
– All contaminated parts that cannot be satisfactorily cleaned during servicing
and repairs must be disposed of in tightly sealed bags.
▪ They must be disposed of in accordance with valid regulations.
Note
Do not operate without the full filtration system fitted.
The extractor unit is operated in conjunction with various filters and extraction com‐
ponents, taking into consideration ergonomic principles.
Note
Only work on the suction hood with the protective shield.
