2 Setup methods according to ISO 17664 | 2.8 Automatic hygiene functions of the water conducting system
The rinsing program proceeds in four steps. For rinsing programme 01, the
cycle starts in step 2, and for rinsing programme 02, the cycle starts in step 4.
Step Description
4.0 Fresh water supply
Duration: 60 seconds
3.0 Tumbler rinsing
Duration: 20 seconds
2.0 Rinsing of the handpieces
The rinsing time can be set variably for each handpiece.
Standard setting:
▪ Rinsing programme 01 = 20 seconds per instrument
▪ Rinsing programme 02 = 2 minutes per instrument
1.0 Rinsing the triple-function and multifunction handpiece
Set rinsing time of rinsing programme 01 or 02
0.1 Waiting position for setting down the handpieces
Start rinsing programme
Rinsing program 01 needs to be started manually (e.g. after the treatment).
Rinsing program 02 can be started manually or automatically on the next
morning.
▶ Briefly press the "Intensive germ reduction" key to manually start the pro-
cess.

The selected rinsing program starts.
Starting rinsing program 02 automatically:

Prepare the instruments for the hygiene cycle. Turn off the device without
first starting the rinsing program and do not restart it until the next morn-
ing.
or
▶
Prepare the instruments for the hygiene cycle and start rinsing program 01.
After completion of rinsing program 01, do not put the instruments in hold-
ers. Turn off the device and do not restart it until the next morning.

In both cases, rinsing program 02 is started automatically.
Note
If the device is not used the entire day (i.e., the instruments are not moun-
ted), the rinsing program automatically starts the next morning when the
device is turned on.
The rinsing programme can be stopped at any time by pressing the "intensive
germ reduction" key.
If the device is turned off and then on again, the rinsing program also stops.
