I. REPLACE MASTER CIRCUIT BOARD
A. Remove back cover.
B. Disconnect the 3 keyboard tails (ribbon) by pressing the blue or
black plastic housing at the end of each tail off of the pins that it
slides onto on the circuit board.
C. When removing the 10 circuit board screws, be careful not to
remove the 2 screws for the display. One of the display screws is
next to the Footswitch 1 jack. The 2nd is directly across from
the 1st, 3 1/8" away, at the left edge of the circuit board.
D. Now remove the old circuit board and install the new circuit
board.
E. Install and tighten the 10 screws with washers to hold the
circuit board into the chassis.
F. Reconnect keyboard tails into the circuit board.
G. Replace back cover.
II. REPLACE EXPANDER CIRCUIT BOARD
A. Remove back cover.
B. Disconnect the 2 keyboard tails (ribbon) by pressing the blue or
black plastic housing at the end of each tail off of the pins that it
slides onto on the circuit board.
C. Remove the circuit board screws.
D. Now remove the old circuit board and install the new circuit
board.
E. Install and tighten the circuit board screws with washers to hold
the circuit board into the chassis.
F. Reconnect keyboard tails into the circuit board.
G. Replace back cover.
III. CLEANING ADAPTER PLUG
A. UNPLUG ADAPTER from w a l l !
B. Using a small precision screwdriver, scrape out the inside of the
power plug. This will remove any corrosive build up inside the
plug.
IV. CHANGING THE FSR SENSORS
A. Unplug the m a l l e t K A T AC a d a p t o r f r o m the wall.
B. Remove the back cover.
C. Remove the circuit board as indicated in section I or II.
