Filling the boiler
The boiler of the heating system is supplied with water from the fresh water tank. To prevent the water
from accidentally flowing out of the boiler, the drain valve of the boiler (FrostControl) has to be closed (3).
The “FrostControl” drain valve is located next to the heating system.

“FrostControl” drain valve
Switch on the fresh water pump on the control panel. Open all outlet points in the kitchen and bathroom.
Leave these open until the air has escaped from the system and the water flows from the outlets in a
continuous stream.
Note:
At temperatures below 7 °C, the “FrostControl” drain valve opens automatically to
drain the content of the boiler. So it can still be closed at these temperatures, the heating
has to be switched on to heat up the vehicle interior.
5.11
Draining the boiler
If the boiler is not used for an extended period of time, it has to be emptied completely in order to avoid
frost damage. Switch off the fresh water pump on the control panel and open all outlet points in the
kitchen and bathroom.
Turn the rotary knob of (1) the drain valve (FrostControl) by 90° until it engages. The push-button (3) is
released from the latched position and the drain valve opens.
The water from the boiler is now drained to the outside through the drain valve. Place a bucket under the
draining port (4) to ensure that the boiler has been drained completely (approx. 10 litres).
