Behaviour in the event of a fire
Act quickly and correctly if a fire breaks out:
●
Immediately evacuate everyone from the motorhome and administer first aid, if necessary.
●
Disconnect the external power supply, if necessary.
●
Close the valves on the gas cylinders.
●
Cordon off the direct area around the motorhome and keep any strangers away.
●
Alert the fire brigade and ambulance service.
●
Extinguish the fire if this is possible without putting anyone at risk.

Safety instructions before setting out
Before setting out, complete all items on the following list and follow the instructions.

●
Check that the signals and lights, steering and brakes on your motorhome are
functioning.
●
Remove any leaves, snow and ice from the roof of your motorhome.
●
Secure the gas cylinders.
●
Close the safety valves on the gas cylinders.
●
Fully retract the awning (optional equipment).
●
Close and lock all doors and other hatches.
●
Lock the rotating front seats in direction of travel.
●
Close all windows and roof lights.
●
Move the drop-down bed (if fitted) all the way to the top.
●
Retract the electric step.
●
Stow away and secure any loose objects.
●
Only stow away heavy objects in cupboards on which the doors open against the
direction of travel.
●
Secure the blinds for the cab in the retracted position (open).
●
Secure all moving parts of the interior furnishings, such as doors and tables.
●
Fold down the covers over the hob and sink (if fitted).
●
Move the shower head to its standard/attached position.
●
Secure the flat screen TV (if fitted).
●
Move the satellite dish (if fitted) to the driving position.
Note:
Close all doors, windows and other hatches before exiting the motorhome.
