Automatic Gain and Exposure Time
With the Automatic Gain Control (AGC = Automatic Gain Control), the gain is automatically controlled
depending on the image content in the measuring window in a range from 0 dB to 24 dB.
With the Automatic Exposure Time (AET = Automatic Exposure Time), the exposure time is adjusted
automatically depending on the image content in the measuring window in a range from 1/Framerate.
Following functions for the gain and exposure control of the camera are possible:
Determine the common level for AGC and AET
A level of 0 ... 100% brightness can be adjusted. Smaller values make the image darker and brighter at
large values.
Turning on and off of the automatic gain (AGC)
Determination of the manual gain.
A value between 0 dB to 24 dB can be set.
Turning on and off of the automatic exposure time (AET)
Determination of the manual exposure time.
If the auto gain is turned off, the camera works with the last selected gain.
A small gain value makes the image darker, brighter at a large gain value. The
higher the gain the stronger the noise in the image.
