Connecting the
Relays
The KT-NCC comes with four onboard relays located below the RS-485 terminals (COM 1 and COM 2).
These relays activate under conditions chosen in EntraPass Global Edition software. By default, on-
board relay #2 is configured to monitor AC power failure. (Configuration is done in the Gateway dialog in
EntraPass.)
For the KT-NCC UL Cabinet only
- In order for the KT-NCC to comply with UL 294 section 32.1.5, the
installation technician has the responsibility of installing an AC powered LED outside the KT-NCC cabinet
and connect it to relay # 2 on the KT-NCC PCB. The LED must be visible at all time.
