BAKE
Use your Kalorik Maxx Air Fryer Oven as a conventional oven by turning the
FUNCTION knob to BAKE. Place the baking tray or air rack with food inside
the oven.
•
If using the air rack: place the baking pan on the lowest level, as there
is a chance grease may drip during the cooking process. The baking
pan will help catch any grease or crumbs and protect the lower
heating elements.
o
If using the baking pan to cook, place it on the first or second
level
•
Place your accessory with your food on the appropriate rack level.
Close the doors.
•
Select your desired temperature using the temperature dial.
•
Turn the timer dial to select your cooking time and begin the cooking
process.
o
Temperature and time can be adjusted by turning either the
temperature or timer dials during the cooking process. Turn
clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to decrease.
o
Time can be adjusted from 1 to 60 minutes and temperature
from 170°F to 450°F.
•
The power light will turn on to indicate the heating elements are turned
on.
o
If doors are opened during the cooking process, the heating
process will be paused, and the power light will turn off. Close
the doors to resume cooking.
o
The timer will not be paused if the doors are opened so keep
this in mind in case you need to add additional minutes to your
cycle.
•
When baking, allow 10 minutes of preheating at desired temperature
before placing your food inside.
•
Like in all ovens, more heat is generated in the back of the oven than in
the front. For this reason, we recommend rotating your baked goods
180° halfway through the baking time to ensure even results.
o
You can do this by directly rotating the baking pan or rack.
•
When the cooking time has elapsed, a bell will ring to indicate the end
of the cooking process. The heating elements will turn off and unit will
return to OFF mode.
•
Using oven mitts and the tray handle, carefully take out your food.
