Place the desired baking pan, basket, or grill rack with food inside the
oven. If reheating/keeping warm greasy or moist foods that may drip,
place baking pan / drip tray at the bottom to catch any grease or
crumbs.

Use the FUNCTION dial to select the convection oven mode (OVEN with
fan icon). Use TEMPERATURE dial to turn to desired temperature. Use the
TIMER dial to set desired baking time and begin the baking process.
Note: Please keep in mind that convection baking is generally faster than
traditional baking when setting time. If you are unsure about needed time,
it is best to count a 25% reduction in cooking time (an hour-long baking
time would be 45 minutes) and adding additional time, as necessary.
Another precaution could be to adjust the temperature to 10-25°F lower
than the recipe calls when making it for the first time.
•
This function is not recommended for cooking foods that need
thorough inner baking like custardy desserts, souffles, cakes, and
quickbreads, as they may cook on the outside faster than on the inside.
For foods like this, we recommend using the regular bake function.
TOAST
Use your MAXX
Air Fryer Oven as a toaster oven by using the “TOAST”
function. Use this to toast bread, bagels, burger buns, and more!
•
Place food on air rack and slide inside the oven. Make sure the
removable crumb tray is in place to ensure you catch all fallout.
•
Use the FUNCTION
dial to select “TOAST”.
•
Use the TEMPERATURE dial to turn to the desired toasting temperature.
We suggest first toasting at 400 °F and adjusting the temperature as
necessary.

When using the toast function, the 4
th
dial (TOAST TIMER) needs to be
set to the desired level of browning. It functions as a timer in place of
the 1
st
dial (TIMER).

Light
(“LIGHT”)
is about 5 minutes, Medium
(“MED”)
is about 6 minutes,
Dark
(“DARK”)
is 8 minutes.
•
When the TOAST TIMER has elapsed, a bell will ring to indicate the end
of the heating process, and unit will return to “OFF” mode.
•
To prevent burning food, it is imperative to monitor cooking. Remove
toast immediately after timer has elapsed.
