Connecting remote signal monitoring
↻
It has been ensured that there is no AC/DC voltage present.
↻
Housing cover open.
1. Loosen the cable fitting to pass the signal cable through [ W_20]
2. Replace the sealing insert in the cable fitting with a multiple sealing insert.
3. Feed the remote signal monitoring signal cable through the cable gland and into
the housing.
NOTE: Refer to the technical details on connecting remote signal monit-
oring!
1. Connect the signal cable to the connection terminal of the DC overvoltage pro-
tection in accordance with the terminal allocation [ S_3,5 / 0.25 Nm]
2. Lay the signal cable correctly and tighten the cable fitting [ W_20 / 1.5 Nm]
ð

Creating equipotential bonding
↻
The device has been installed on the mount.
1. Undo the cable fitting for housing ground connection [ W_20]
2. Insert the cable for equipotential bonding through the cable fitting provided
into the connection area.
3. Strip the insulation from the equipotential bonding cable.
4. Furnish the stripped cable with an M4 ring cable lug.
5. Lay the equipotential bonding cable onto the grounding point and attach with
the M4 x 10 bolt and lock washer provided [ W_T30/ 2.2 Nm].
6. Check that the connected cable is fitted securely.
7. Tighten the cable fitting for the housing ground connection [ W_20 / 1.5
Nm].
ð
The housing is included in the equipotential bonding.
