
Registering a BLUETOOTH device
You can listen to music from a BLUETOOTH device
through the System.

In order to use these functions, the device must be
compatible with AVRCP and A2DP profiles.

Some BLUETOOTH devices may not be available
to the System.

Switch the source to “BLUETOOTH”.

“Ready” is displayed when any device is not
registered to the System.

While “Connecting” is blinking, you cannot
perform any operations except for turning the
System off.

On your device, set “Bluetooth” to ON.

On iPod touch/iPhone/iPad and an Android
device, select “Bluetooth” from “Settings”.

On a PC, open the screen for the BLUETOOTH
setup.

Select “RV-S5” from the network list.

The pairing is completed and the target
BLUETOOTH device is connected to the System
automatically.

“Connected” will be displayed on the System.

When the target device requests the passkey
during pairing operation, enter “0000”.

On iPod touch/iPhone/iPad, start a “Music”
application to display the “Now Playing”
screen.

On a PC, start iTunes or Windows Media

The pairing is necessary only when connecting for
the first time.

The BLUETOOTH device last used will be
connected automatically by turning on the Bluetooth
function of your device while “Connecting” blinks on
the screen.

To re-connect another BLUETOOTH device,
operate the device to connect while “Ready”
appears on the screen.

Try again from the beginning if connection cannot
be established.
