9. Dress the grounding cable and verify that it does not touch or block access to device components, and
that it does not drape where people could trip on it.
Connecting Power to an AC-Powered SRX5600 Services Gateway
WARNING:
To meet safety and electromagnetic interference (EMI) requirements and
to ensure proper operation, you must properly ground the services gateway chassis
before connecting power. See
“Grounding the SRX5600 Services Gateway” on page 220
for instructions.
CAUTION:
Do not mix AC and DC power supplies within the same services gateway.
Damage to the device might occur.
You connect AC power to the device by attaching power cords from the AC power sources to the AC
appliance inlets located on the power supplies. The power cords are not provided with the services gateway.
