3.2.2 Install the SIM Card
CAUTION: The Mesa Pro must be turned off before changing

The card slot and tray are designed to hold the card securely in
place so it will not come out or disconnect if the tablet is dropped.
To insert or remove a card,

2. Remove the battery door as outlined in
Install the Battery Packs on page 9.
CAUTION: The Mesa Pro is not sealed against water and dust
when the battery door is not installed properly.
3. Remove the battery pack by pulling up on the black tab on
the front of the battery pack.
4. An image on the battery compartment label shows the
correct location and orientation for the SIM card (slot on the
right in the left battery compartment).
5. Use the card tray eject pin that came with your Mesa Pro to
pop out the card tray.
6. Place your SIM card in the tray.
7. Push the card tray back into place, covering the card slots.
8. Replace the battery pack, and return the battery door.
Note: If the modem was on before shutting the Mesa Pro down
to insert the SIM card, you are prompted to configure the data
connection when you reboot.
