Returning Products for Repair or Replacement

Packing Instructions for Returning a Chassis

If possible, use the original shipping and packing materials in which the chassis was originally 
shipped. If these materials are unavailable, use comparable shipping material, or contact your 
Juniper Networks representative for information on approved packaging material.

To pack the chassis for shipment, follow these guidelines:

z

Remove all cables from the chassis 

z

Remove the chassis from the rack and place the gateway in the box to be shipped 

z

Cover the chassis with packing foam on top of the chassis 

z

Securely tape the closed box 

z

Write the RMA number on the exterior of the box to ensure proper tracking
