NOTICE
Testing and replacing hydraulic hoses
Hydraulic hoses can become brittle through age and must be checked at regular
intervals. The application conditions of the industrial truck have a considerable
impact on the ageing of the hydraulic hoses.
u
Check the hydraulic hoses at least annually and replace if necessary.
u
If the operating conditions become more arduous the inspection intervals must be
reduced accordingly.
u
In normal operating conditions a precautionary replacement of the hydraulic hoses
is recommended after 6 years. The owner must carry out a risk assessment to
ensure safe, prolonged use. The resulting protection measures must be observed
and the inspection interval reduced accordingly.
