4.6 Lifting, transporting and depositing loads
WARNING!
Unsecured and incorrectly positioned loads can cause accidents
Before lifting a load, the operator must make sure that it has been correctly
palletised and does not exceed the truck’s capacity.
u Instruct other people to move away from the hazardous area of the truck. Stop
using the truck if people do not vacate the hazardous area.
u Only carry loads that have been correctly secured and positioned. Use suitable
precautions to prevent parts of the load from tipping or falling down.

Damaged loads must not be transported.
u Never exceed the maximum loads specified on the load chart.
u Never stand underneath a raised load handler.
u Do not stand on the load handler.
u
Do not lift other people on the load handler.
u Insert the load handler as far as possible underneath the load.

Adapt a slower speed when stacking and retrieving.
