1. Description
These operating instructions describe the models of the
electrically driven trolleys JLA-e 5/12 G with stroke and
JLA-e 15/30 G with stroke.
1.1 Proper use
The electrically driven trolley – hereinafter referred to
as trolley – is intended only for the short transport of
heavy loads in factory halls with sufficiently solid, even,
horizontal, clean, non-skid and dry floors. The load to
be moved must be statically rigid and tilt-proof. The
surfaces on the trolleys must be suitable for the load.
Adequate size, pressure resistance, stability and slip
resistance must be ensured.
The maximum transport speed of 2 km/h must not be
exceeded. Country-specific regulations as well as opera-
ting and safety regulations must be complied with.
The permissible load-bearing capacity of the trolley
specified on the type plate must not be exceeded.
Proper use also means that these operating instructions,
particularly the safety information, must be read and
observed. The operating instructions are part of the
product and must therefore be kept and handed over
with the product if passed on.
1.2 Improper use
The trolleys are not intended for transporting loads
on public roads or places. They are not intended for
use under special conditions (such as in a potentially
explosive, easily flammable or corrosive environment).
It is not allowed to transport people or animals with the
trolleys. Any other use of these devices is regarded as
improper use. The manufacturer / supplier shall not be
liable for damage resulting from any other use. The risk
is borne by the user in case of non-compliance with the
proper use.
1.3 Safety and warning information
These operating instructions contain warnings of various
degrees of severity as described below.
DANGER
Indicates an imminent danger that could result in
serious personal injury or death.
WARNING
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation that could
result in serious bodily injuries.
CAUTION
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation that could
result in minor injuries.
NOTE
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation that can lead
to property damage.
Electrical voltage warning:
If the required precautionary measures
are not taken, injuries or damage could
result from electrical voltage.
