 of the power swtch to turn ON 

the power.

(caution)  If the backlight of the operation panel 

does not light up after the power switch 

is turned oN, immediately turn the power 

oFF and check the voltage. In addition, 

in such a case as this, re-turn oN the 

power switch when 2 to 3 minutes or 

more have passed after turning oFF the 

power switch.

2)  When the needle bar s not n UP poston, t auto-

matcally turns to the UP poston.

(Caution)  When turning ON the power for the first 

time, there is the case where the tim-
ing is slightly retarded to perform the 
initialization work. When turning oN the 
power, the needle bar moves. Do not put 
your hands or things under the needle.

3)  The pedal s operated n the followng four steps: 
 a. The machne runs at low sewng speed when you 

lghtly depress the front part of the pedal.

 b. The machne runs at hgh sewng speed when you 

further depress the front part of the pedal.

(If the automatc reverse feed sttchng has been 
preset, the machne runs at hgh speed after t com-
pletes reverse feed sttchng.) 

 c.  The machne stops (wth ts needle up or down) 

when you reset the pedal to ts orgnal poston. 

 d. The machne trms threads when you fully depress 

the back part of the pedal.

  *  When the auto-lfer (AK devce) s used, one more operatng swtch s provded between the sewng 

machne stop swtch and thread trmmng swtch. The presser foot goes up when you lghtly depress the 
back part of the pedal

When startng sewng from the state that the presser foot has been lfted wth the Auto-lfter and you 
depress the back part of the pedal, the presser foot only comes down.

machne stops after t completes the reverse feed sttchng. 

  •  The machne wll perform normal thread trmmng even f you depress the back part of the pedal mmed-
