To re-format a medum, the IP-420 has to be used. The IP-420 s not able to read any medum whch s 
formatted on a personal computer.

   Start formatting of the media.

 

Set the meda you desre to format to the meda slot, close the 

cover, press ENTER button

 and formattng starts. 

Save necessary data n the meda to the other meda before 
formattng. When formattng s performed, the nsde data are 
deleted.

When two or more media are connected to the sew-
ing machine, the medium to be formatted is deter-
mined by the predetermined priority order.
