6.1.1
General procedure
Attention
To prevent possible damage to the JUDO JRSF automatic backwashing protection filter
and its piping system, before first operation under full load, the closing speed of the
shut-off valve (see Chap. 6.1.3) and the stroke limiter of the pneumatic drive (see Chap.
6.1.2) must be set to match the local circumstances!
The closing speed of the pneumatic drive must be regulated via the exhaust throttle of the solenoid
valve (see Chap. 6.1.3).
Adjust the stroke limiter at the shut-off valve pneumatic drive (see Chap. 6.1.2)
Carefully open the site shut-off valves upstream and downstream of the JUDO JRSF automatic
backwashing protection filter.
If necessary bleed the control line of the differential pressure gauge at the connection (-) via the
mini-ball-valve, then carefully reattach the control line.
Carefully open both mini-ball valves of the differential pressure gauge.
Set switching point S1 at the differential pressure gauge (max. 0.5 bar).
Switch on the control unit and program in consideration of the local requirements.
As a function check initiate a manual backwash.
6.1.2
Adjust the stroke limiter at the shut-off valve pneumatic drive
Attention
Only perform setting of the stroke limiter if the system is completely depressurised!
