Indicator descriptions

The following tables describes the status of the different indicator lights

when the EPIRB is operating normally.

The first Cospas-Sarsat signal will be transmitted

approximately 60 seconds after the EPIRB has been activated.

•

The first AIS signal will be transmitted approximately 4.5

minutes after the EPIRB has been activated.

•

The 121.5 MHz homing signal will start transmitting

approximately 4.5 minutes after the EPIRB has been activated.
