Parental Control
prevents the viewing of programs unsuitable for children, blocking their viewing unless
you enter the correct password.
To activate this function, press the
MENU
key on the remote control and reach the
SYSTEM
menu using the
arrow keys, move to
PARENTAL GUIDANCE
and press
OK
, the password is requested (default is
000000
).
The new screen requires entering the minimum age to view the programs using the arrow keys, then press
OK
. If a broadcaster reports that a program is prohibited for minors of the age set for viewing, the
password is requested.
Change password
To change some settings (
Parental control
) it is necessary to enter a password, by default it is
000000
, but
it may be necessary to change it. To do this, press the
MENU
key on the remote control, move with the
arrow keys to access the
SYSTEM
menu, click on
SET PASSWORD
. At this point, a screen opens asking for
both the password currently in use and the one you want to use from now on. The password is a 6-digit
number, which can be entered with the numeric keypad on the remote control.
Keep the newly changed
password carefully, the old password will no longer be usable.
