Hot Water Piping

Piping must comply with local plumb-

ing codes and ordinances.

Due to the variety of piping practices, it is advisable

to follow the recommendations of local authorities.

They can supply the installer with the proper building

and safety codes required for a safe and proper

installation.

ELECTRIC HEAT

The unit can be ordered with factory installed electric

heat. The electric heat option is installed on the supply

air outlet. The electric heat assembly, including the

controls, is contained within the supply air plenum on

the top of the unit.

FILTERS

Standard ﬁlters are 30% 2-inch. As an option, 4- inch

ﬁlters can be ordered with efﬁciencies up to 90%. A

30% 2-inch preﬁlter can also be ordered with the 4” high

efﬁciency ﬁlter option. The ﬁlters are factory installed

in the ﬁlter/hydronic coil section of the unit, prior to the

evaporator coil. Filters must always be installed ahead

of the evaporator coil. The ﬁlters must be kept clean

and replaced with the same size and type as shipped with

the unit. Dirty ﬁlters will reduce the capacity of the unit

and may result in frosted coils and safety shutdowns.

The unit should never be operated for any length of time

without the proper ﬁlters installed in the unit.
