The
BW-PGH
transceiver supports wireless detectors,
wireless sirens, and keyfobs. The maximum number of
wireless
devices
supported
depends
on
the
ABSOLUTA Plus control panel model, as indicated in
Table 1 on page 11.
For the complete and updated list of supported wireless
devices, see the Bentel Security website.
3
In order to comply with EN50131 Grade 3 stan-
dards, Wireless Devices may NOT be used or, at
most, can be used in Grade 2 subsystems.
The ABSOLUTA Plus control panel can detect alarm,
tamper, low battery and lost wireless detectors.
When a wireless detector (assigned to a zone) detects
alarm conditions, the control panel will generate the re-
spective
Alarm on zone
event, and other events which
depend on the programmed type (refer to “Type” under
“Zones”).
When a wireless detector (assigned to a zone) detects
tamper conditions, the control panel will generate the
respective
Tamper on zone
event, and other events
which depend on the programmed type (refer to “Type”
under “Zones”).
When the battery of a wireless detector (assigned to a
zone) is low, the control panel will generate a
Low bat-
tery on Wireless Detector
event.
When a wireless detector fails to transmit a supervisory
signal within a certain time frame, the control panel will
generate a
Lost of Wireless Detector
event.
Some wireless devices can measure the temperature
and light intensity of the environment in which they are
installed. The control panel generates specific events
when the temperature and brightness thresholds are
exceeded; you can assign the desired actions to these
events. The LCD keypads show the average tempera-
ture measured by the devices.
Wireless sirens can emit different sounds to identify the
type of alarm (burglary, fire, gas, and flooding) or for
other applications.
The two-way keyfobs are able to show the status of the
security system.
Power station
The power station has been especially
designed for Security system applications. The tamper
protected box (protected against opening and forced
removal) can house a backup battery for power supply
during black-out. The ABSOLUTA Plus control panel
supports
BXM12/30-B
3.6 A power station and
BXM12/50-B
5.4 A power station.
BOSS
The BOSS application (runs under Windows)
provides full Programming, Customer Database and
real-time Supervisory functions, and will allow you to
make the fullest use of all the system features.

and having been enabled by a
Master User
(see
“KEYPAD OPERATIONS” section and “Quick guide for
the LCD Keypad menu” in the “APPENDIX” section).
Level 4
