Verifying the Integrity of an Array
Verifying the integrity of an array means that the JMR Storage Manager software
will check and validate the parity of the drives in the array. This is a long
background operation; however, you can continue with other system processes.
The following guidelines will walk you through the instructions on how to enable
and run the verify integrity process. Verify Integrity is not available for RAID 0.
Select the array to be verified by clicking on the desired array icon. Then, click
on Array in the menu bar (or right-click the array icon) and select Verify
Integrity in the drop menu (see
), which will display the Verify
Integrity window. Notice that the Fix Integrity box is checked by default (see
). Click OK to commit this request and begin the verify operation.
